The creek Lipnica is the Sava’s first tributary on the right side after the confluence of the Sava Bohinjka and the Sava Dolinka. It flows into the Sava in the vicinity of the village Ovsiše. The creek accumulates its waters on the northeast slopes of the plateau Jelovica, from which three major creeks flow into the Lipnica.
